Formerly Baby Godzilla, the band now known as HECK will be playing The Horn in St Albans next Wednesday, November 11.
The Nottingham four-piece rock band, comprising Matt Reynolds, Jonny Hall, Tom Marsh and Paul Shelley, was ordered to change its name by the Japanese cinema giant but has pledged to continue playing the same music.
Tickets are £8 in advance/£10 on the door, available here.
The following night, Thursday, November 12, finds London-based newcomers VANT at The Horn.
With a new single Parking Lot out the following day VANT is the brainchild of Mattie Vant and born out of discontent and frustration with the modern world.
The band has received extensive support from Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, XFM and 6Music and has just completed a season of festivals including Reading and Leeds.
