TRUMPET player in the grand manner, Bruce Adams, performs at The Bull in London Colney on Saturday night.

His tone is big without being brash and he plays jazz at the highest level, appearing at festivals in Britain and abroad, winning awards in the BBC Radio Two’s band competition and broadcasting with his own quartet.

He has shared the stage with front line partners such as Benny Carter, Al Cohn and Buddy Tate.

Bruce and the Clark Tracey Quartet are appearing at 9pm and admission is �7.50 which includes a buffet and a raffle.
