THE FRUITS of a successful fundraising concert have been presented to a church building fund.
The Hardynge Choir handed over a cheque for �1,200 to the High Street Methodist Church in Harpenden for its building fund. It follows a fundraising Bring and Sing Concert on Saturday, June 13, at which Faure's Requiem was performed.
Nearly 80 adults and 10 students took part and there were refreshments in the church hall between the rehearsal in the afternoon and the evening performance.
