FOUR jazz performers described as the most exciting musicians working on the UK and European circuit today are appearing at Herts Jazz Club on Sunday evening.

The Brandon Allen/Quentin Collins Quartet released their debut album What’s It Gonna Be? last year after four-plus years of extensive touring,

Trumpeter Quentin and tenor saxophonist Brandon have been inspired by the glory days of hard bop and the music of Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley and its other great proponents.

The quartet also comprises Ross Stanley on organ and Enzo Zirilli on drums.
