A subtitled film about three Brazilian boys who live by sorting trash is being screened by Harpenden Film Society next Wednesday, September 23.
Trash, directed by Billy Elliot’s Stephen Daldry, with a screenplay by Richard Curtis and starring Martin Sheen, looks at what happens when the boys find a wallet and get chased by the police before realising they must have found something important.
It is being screened at 8pm at Harpenden Public Halls and tickets are £5 for non members and £3.50 for members, available from the venue, WHSmiths in Harpenden, sponsors Godfrey’s Fish and Chips or the website here.
