INSPIRED by a pack of playing cards of Hollywood greats he designed as a young man, Stevenage author Aidan Caine has gone on to compile a book of 100 caricatures of movie stars, complete with a quote from each of the actors and actresses he features.
Aidan’s artistic talent manages to capture an uncanny likeness of the famous stars of a golden age of cinema, including Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn.
This is a book to dip in and out of, to reminisce about bygone eras, and to stir a sense of nostalgia.
There is no doubt Aidan is a talented artist, and this book is well worth a look.
