STUDENTS from all over Europe and the USA have signed up for holiday courses being run by a St Albans theatre arts school.
David Bevan, founder of Best Theatre Arts, said: “It’s really remarkable how word gets around but we are completely amazed at this. Our guests from Spain have been coming for four years and have recommended us on to friends... and so it goes on.”
Best’s Summer Academies give students the opportunity to flesh out basic stories during a week of acting, singing and dancing before a show on the last day at the SandPit Theatre in Marshalswick.
Courses for six to 16 year olds started this week but places are still available for A Midsummer Academy’s Dream from next Monday, July 29, to August 2, St Matilda’s High School on August 5 to 9 and Toy Story and Pooh and Friends for four to six year olds.
