THREE of Alan Bennett's much-loved Talking Heads monologues are to be performed by the Harpenden Methodist Players next week.
They will be putting on Lady of Letters, A Woman of No Importance and Soldiering On from at 8pm next Wednesday, April 14, to Friday, April 16, at the High Street Methodist Church in the town.
Roy Hall is directing the three chosen monologues, each of which is regarded as a small masterpiece and made famous by Patricia Routledge and Stephanie Cole on TV.
The performances will stay true to Bennett's inimitable language while combining their individual and gripping stories in an engaging style.
