EUROPE’S leading taiko drum group, Mugenkyo, are performing at Harpenden Public Halls next Tuesday, October 26.
Through years of rigorous touring, they have developed a gritty style that is uniquely their own, retaining the traditional spirit of taiko yet creating a contemporary sound and a modern stage show.
Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers have been the driving force behind the growing Taiko movement in the UK since they were established in 1994, spearheading its development as a European art form through high profile performances, television appearances and extensive touring.
The concert features dance artist Lale Sayoko, described as elegant, graceful, mysterious and mesmerising.
