STAR theatre organist Phil Kelsall will be putting on a concert of music for all tastes at St Albans Organ Theatre on Saturday evening.

Phil has been resident theatre organist at Blackpool Tower Ballroom since 1977, a job which he took on at the age of 21. He carries on the tradition of fine dance music at the Wurlitzer originated by the late Reginald Dixon.

He leads the team of Blackpool organists through the long summer season, ensuring enthusiasts hear the organ music every possible minute of the day, and for a short period in winter he is able to tour, giving sell-out concerts all around Britain and overseas.

At the St Albans theatre in Camp Road he will be playing the Wurlitzer and Rutt theatre pipe organs.

A few tickets at £7 are available by calling 01727 768652. The concert begins at 7.45pm.
