ARTIST George White has been working flat out putting the finishing touches to one of the stars of the Company of Ten’s Christmas production, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – the eponymous king of the jungle Aslan.
Director Katherine Barry said: “As lovers of C S Lewis’s classic story know, Aslan is no ordinary lion. And our Aslan is no ordinary puppet; he is a walking, talking character in an extraordinary play.
“The Company of Ten has a tradition of getting the details of a show just right: this is why we brought a talented artist like George in to make our Aslan.”
