ONE of Rossini’s greatest works, Petite Messe Solennelle, is being performed by Music Makers at St John’s Church in Southdown, Harpenden, on Saturday evening.
The concert will be introduced and conducted by Hilary Campbell and the soloists will be soprano Helen Bailey, alto Emma Watkinson, tenor Dave Bellinger, bass Dario Dugandzic, piano Melanie Jones and harmonium David Noble.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are �12 with concessions �10 and students �5 which includes interval refreshments and wine. They can be obtained from Brian Woods on 01582 761528 or on the door.
