SEASONAL favourites and the music of the greats emanated from a former city centre shop which was converted into a jazz caf on two nights last week.
OVO at Sumpter Yard in St Albans - the former Patons bookshop - was handed over to the theatre company's house band Food of Love for a selection of swing classics.
The programme on the two sell-out nights ranged from the mellow to the upbeat with liberal helpings of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald combined with Christmas favourites including Santa Baby, Let It Snow and Fairytale of New York.
