When Teddy Deakin pulls the communication cord of a train because his hat has gone out of the window, it triggers a series of events which are behind Arnold Ridley’s play The Ghost Train.
And it is what happens to the passengers in the deserted station waiting room late at night which can be discovered when The High Street Players put on the play next week.
The Ghost Train is being performed at the Harpenden High Street Methodist Church at 8pm from next Wednesday, November 26, to Friday, November 28.
Tickets for Wednesday are £7, Thursday and Friday £8 or £9 on the door. They are available from Manor Pharmacy, by calling 766096 or going online at wwww.hsplayers.org.uk
