VENTRILOQUIST and comedian Paul Zerdin is bringing his Sponge Fest Tour to the Alban Arena next Wednesday, Ocrober 20.

The stand-out performer at last year’s Royal Variety Show, he had a sell-out Edinburgh Fringe run and has starred in numerous TV shows.

More comedy follows next Thursday, October 21, when Stewart Francis arrives at the Arena fresh from Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Eight out of 10 Cats.

Comedian Stewart will be performing his new show Tour de Francis at 8pm and a few tickets remain at �15.

One of the best-selling soul groups ever, The Stylistics, are appearing at the Arena at 8pm next Friday, October 22.

The Philadelphia-based quartet recorded 10 straight top ten hits during the early 1970s and have proved to be a pillar of longevity in a genre rife with one-hit wonders and break ups. Altogether The Stylistics have appeared on over 40 albums including compilations.

Tickets are �23.50 and �22.

The music continues next Sunday, October 24, when One Night of Queen comes to the Arena.

Freddie Mercury is regarded by many as the best live performer ever with a unique talent and since winning ITV’s Stars in their Eyes, Gary Mullen has been recognised as the closest thing to Freddie with his voice, persona and portrayal.

The show, which starts at 7.30pm, takes in all the great classics by Queen including We Are The Champions, Somebody to Love and Bohemian Rhapsody.
