St Albans Jazz Ensemble, more colloquially known as STAJE, are performing at the Abbey Theatre in St Albans next Thursday, January 7.
The jazz, funk, soul and blues band come on stage at 8pm.
The gig follows a busy 2015 with tri-annual concerts at local theatres, and performances as part of the St Albans Flower Festival and the city’s fashion week.
They also held a charity concert in aid of FEED food bank at the Vineyard Church..
Band director Andy Baddaley is currently hard at work putting together some fresh new arrangements for STAJE’s Easter gig.
He said: “We always aim to showcase some of the best musical talent in the local area, both in terms of instrumentalists and vocalists.”
Appearing with STAJE next week are ex-Polly Poison singer Katie Masson, local poet/songsmith Kat Deal, Dominic Reeks, Lucy Lock, Keeva Rooney and Emma Barry.
