ACTORS are invited to take their place in Wonderland in May by taking part in auditions being held in St Albans next week.

Innovative St Albans-based theatre group Breakaway are holding auditions for local actors, singers and musicians to appear in Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass at St Albans School amphitheatre from May 28 to 31.

Open auditions will be held at 7.45pm next Tuesday, January 15, at St Paul's Church Hall off Hatfield Road, St Albans.

While some of the roles have already been filled from previous auditions, director Neil Johnston is looking for talented performers to play a variety of both small and larger roles.

The show will have magical staging with jazz-influenced music to capture the psychedelic and surreal style of Lewis Carroll's original stories.

Those taking part will also have the option of joining Breakaway when they take the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.

Anyone who would like to audition should contact Neil on 01582 712971 or neil@vividgreen.co.uk
