Talented all-rounder Laura Jeanne is gearing up for the release of her new single tonight.

The St Albans singer, songwriter and fashion designer is launching English Rose which is also the name of one of two life-size horse sculptures that she completed for the Chakravarty Cup.

The former St Albans Girls School pupil has shown her versatility by creating the two sculptures, entitled English Rose and Pegasus, which will be on display at the launch tonight. She was the only unknown artist to be invited to take part in the project in partnership with the Prince’s Trust of which Saroj Chakravarty is a patron.

Her sculptures will sit alongside works completed by Prince William and established artists such as Tracey Emin when all 23 life-size horse models are unveiled at the Cob Gallery. Laura Jeanne’s musical career started young - she was playing violin by ear at the age of four and spent her formative years singing, writing music and penning lyrics.

She studied fashion at the University of Herts and makes all the outfits she wears on stage and in her videos.
