CARYL Churchill’s acclaimed play A Number is being performed by the Company of Ten in the Abbey Theatre Studio from this week.
It tells the story of Salter and his son Bernard, who live apparently normal lives until Bernard discovers he is a clone and his whole life has been a lie.
A tragic family drama, A Number was first performed in 2002 at the Royal Court Theatre in London starring Michael Gambon and Daniel Craig. It runs for one hour.
Performances are at 8pm from tonight (Thursday) until next Saturday, April 27, with a Sunday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are available from www.abbeytheatre.org.uk or call the box office on 01727 857861.
