TOP choir the Hertfordshire Chorus is looking for people with a good voice to come along to an open rehearsal later this month.

The rehearsal is a major recruitment opportunity for the Chorus which sings in all the major venues across the country including the Albert Hall, the Barbican, Birmingham Symphony Hall and locally in St Albans Abbey.

The coming season, which includes a concert at St Albans Abbey featuring Beethoven and Poulenc on October 23, takes in work by Haydn and Brahms and the world premiere of a new commission based on the Keats’ poem Ode to a Nightingale at the Barbican.

The open rehearsal is being held from 7pm to 10pm on Wednesday, September 15, at Bishops Hatfield School in Woods Avenue, Hatfield.
