They will include space hoppers, the launch of blockbuster movie Star Wars and memories of the heatwave of 1976, all of which played a part in the story of Seventies St Albans.

St Albans council’s portfolio holder for sports. leisure and heritage, Cllr Annie Brewster, said: “Take a trip down memory lane and pop along to Seventies St Albans. If you were not born until much later, you can discover the decade for the first time and marvel at the clothing and artefacts from the period.”
