FANS of Stan Tracey, the jazz great from St Albans, can see him play in a concert in Welwyn Garden City this Saturday.
Veteran Stan, who regularly performs to sell-out audiences at the Maltings Arts Theatre in St Albans where he lives, is headlining the Herts Jazz Club Christmas party at Campus West from 8pm.
Known as the godfather of British Jazz, Stan will be joined by Don Weller, Art Themen, Jim Mullen, Dave Newton, Arnie Somogyi, Dave Barry and Clark Tracey together with some special surprise guests.
Drummer Clark, who is Stan’s son and runs Herts Jazz Club, said: “This joint is really going to be jumping on Saturday. This is definitely going to start the Christmas season with a bang for all jazz fans.”
