A NEW jazz group formed to celebrate the music of Miles Davis is performing at the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday evening.
Led by pianist Terry Seabrook, the group of six musicians celebrate the music of Miles Davis, one of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century.
Their repertoire includes a reprise of the landmark Kind of Blue album as well as arrangements of Davis songs such as Boplicity, Milestones, Seven Steps to Heaven, Nardis and Prince of Darkness and a new suite composed by Terry on the theme of Miles Davis entitled Sketches of Miles.
The evening begins at 7.45pm at Campus West in Welwyn Garden City and admission is �5 for students and under-21s, �12 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw, �15 on the door and �10 for members.
