A PROGRAMME of works composed around 1800 is being performed by the Arbutus String Quartet in Harpenden next Saturday, April 30.
The quartet comprises Harpenden professional violinist Miles Golding and three colleagues and their programme at St Nicholas Church will feature the work of Joseph Haydn, his younger brother Michael and early Beethoven.
From 7.30pm they will be performing Michael Haydn’s Andantino, Joseph Haydn’s Op. 77 No 22 and Beethoven’s Op. 18 No 5 – together with a Royal Wedding surprise.
