A SELECTION of English anthems and secular songs will be performed next Saturday, June 18, by Harpenden Choral Society.
Songs for a Summer’s Evening will range from the regal splendour of I Was Glad to the melancholy of The Silver Swan as well as offering work by Vaughan Williams, Pearsall, Parry, Howells, Balfour Gardiner and more.
