A BUSY few days beckon at the Alban Arena late next week with three consecutive nights of music.

The Counterfeit Stones get the weekend underway by celebrating their 21st anniversary with 19th Bogus Breakdown from 8pm next Friday, March 2, at the Arena.

Popular vocalists Blake bring their show to the Arena at 7.30pm next Saturday, March 3.

Famous worldwide for creating unique harmony versions of pop, classical and West-End anthems, the four British singers take audiences on a two-hour musical rollercoaster featuring love songs plus exclusive new material from their much-anticipated fourth album.

Continuing the musical theme, The Billy Fury Years appears at The Alban Arena at 7.30pm next Sunday, March 4.

Filled with Billy Fury’s greatest hits and more, delivered live in true Fury style, the show is enhanced by audio and video effects plus various costume changes depicting the ever-changing image and face of the era.

n Following the opening week of digital film, the Arena continues this week with comedy, classic and drama.

At 1.30pm and 7.30pm next Tuesday, February 28, the Arena is screening Deep Blue Sea starring Rachel Weisz as the wife of a British judge who is caught in a self-destructive love affair with a Royal Air Force pilot.

Wuthering Heights is being shown at 1.30pm and 7.30pm next Wednesday, February 29, the classic Emily Bronte tale of how Heathcliff is taken in by the wealthy Earnshaw family where he develops an intense relationship with his young foster sister, Cathy.

And Thursday’s film is Money Ball, the story of Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane’s (Brad Pitt) successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players.
