THE annual Chiltern Model Railway Association (CMRA) exhibition steams its way back to the Alban Arena this weekend.

From 10am to 6pm on Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, the exhibition will feature more than 20 working layouts not seen at the Arena before and in many scales and gauges.

It is not just the railways that are eye-catching but also the settings in which they run. Each layout captures a location at a moment in time and each presents a different three dimensional photograph.

The CMRA exhibition includes demonstration and trade stands with many experts on hand and as usual, a free vintage bus service will operate between St Albans City and Abbey Stations and the Arena.

Admission is £7 for adults which includes a colour programme. Two children from five to 16 are free with each adult and admission for additional or unaccompanied children is £3. Admission is free for people with critically impaired mobility.

Further details can be obtained by calling the Arena box office on 01727 844488 or online at www.alban-arena.co.uk
