Tales of the unexpected unfold at the Maltings Arts Theatre in St Albans next Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, when Irrational Theatre perform Till the Pips Squeak.
Life takes a sickeningly dark and terrifying turn for both Georgie and Lesley in Irrational Theatre’s latest production which offers two visceral and shocking new plays with disturbing and unexpected twists.
Jane Fookes, who wrote the plays, said: “I’m very partial to a good thriller and a big fan of the final twist that no one saw coming. What makes Till the Pips Squeak even more terrifying and tragic is the fact that each story is based on actual events, actual people. Things like this really do happen.”
Director Paula Chitty says: “It’s always very satisfying to work with a powerful script that really delivers a punch. We will be introducing audience members to worlds very unfamiliar to them, worlds they will be happy to leave behind at the theatre door.”
Tickets are available from www.maltingsartstheatre.co.uk, telephone 0844 8700 887 or go to the St Albans Tourist Information Centre at the Town Hall.
