A scholarship offering a youngster the chance to take part in a week of dance and theatre workshops before appearing on stage at the Alban Arena is available from performing arts school Living the Dream.
The scholarship is available to anyone aged from five to 18 and the workshops will lead up to Living the Dream’s Easter Showcase at the Arena on Saturday, April 17.
The variety show featuring street and contemporary dance, musical theatre, acting and sing will involve 150 young people and professionals from the dance company.
It will be in aid of the Dream Foundation, the Mayor’s chosen charity for the year, all funds will go back to supporting our young people in need by providing them with free or subsidised education and training in the performing arts.
