Prolific local author M. J. Arlidge is launching the latest in his DI Helen Grace crime novels at a city centre bookshop this evening (10).
Liar Liar is the fourth DI Grace novel penned by local author Matthew Arlidge who writes under the name M. J. Arlidge, and it will be launched from 7.30pm at Waterstones in St Peter’s Street, St Albans.
It follows the success of Eeny Meeny - the UK’s best-selling crime debut of 2014 - Pop Goes The Weasel and The Doll’s House.
Liar Liar finds the Southampton-based team of DI Grace faced with yet another ruthless serial killer, one with a penchant for pyromania.
Matthew delivers a book every six months and is currently one of Penguin’s most successful crime writers. A BBC TV series featuring DI Helen Grace is in development.
He will read from the book at the launch party which will be followed by a question and answer session and an opportunity to get Liar Liar signed by the author.
