An ensemble featuring leading soloists and chamber players in their own right plays for Radlett Music Club next Thursday, January 28.
The Werther Ensemble have played and recorded together for several years, giving their first performance as a piano quartet in February 2013 when they played Brahms Op.60 The Werther from which they took their name.
They now perform regularly at the Conway Hall in London and have twice performed in BBC Radio 3’s In Tune.
Their repertoire includes well-established music and also lesser-known works.
For the performance, which starts at 8pm at the Radlett Centre, the ensemble, joined by additional players, will perform Schubert’s Piano Quintet in A major ‘The Trout’, and Brahms’ Piano quintet in F minor.
Tickets are £14 for non members, available from here or at the box office on 01923 859291.
