Leading modern jazz pianist Gareth Williams and the Glow Quartet play Herts Jazz Club this Sunday, January 17.
He has performed with an impressive array of world-class artists, from jazz/hip hop band Us3 through to internationally-renowned jazz musicians such as Joe Lovano, Jerry Bergonzi, George Coleman and Jim Mullen.
He has been MD for UK vocalist Claire Martin for many years and in 2013 also won the Best Pianist category in the British Jazz Awards.
Gareth and award-winning Trish Clowes have worked together a few times in the last year and recently decided to create a more formal collaboration in the Glow Quartet.
The evening at the Hawthorne Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, gets underway at 7.30pm and tickets in advance from here are £3 students/£8 members/£10 concessions/£11 full.
On the door they are £5 students/£9 members/£12 concessions/£13 full.
