Now in its seventh year and featuring a host of local bands and activities, a popular music festival is being held in the city next Saturday, July 9.
The M Festival, hosted by Marlborough Science Academy in St Albans, has raised over £30,000 for the school since it was established in 2010.
It opens at 2.30pm with live music from two stages starting at 3pm and will run into the night before closing with a fireworks finale.
Bands set to play include 10-piece soul band Soulfish, pop/funk group Indi and the Vegas, acoustic singer/songwriter Nick Stephenson, and softly sung jazzy-pop talent Rae Kelly. The day will also feature a variety of musical performances from Marlborough students.
The festival will also incorporate various family activities ranging from a zorbing area to a bouncy castle and henna tattoos to a rodeo bull.
Tickets range from £6 for students to £12.50 for adults and £30-35 for families, available from here.
