ONE of Bach's most popular and moving oratorios is being performed in Harpenden in the run-up to Easter.
Harpenden Choral Society is performing the St John Passion at 7.30pm on Saturday at the town's High Street Methodist Church. The choir and soloists will be accompanied by The Kings Chamber Orchestra and tickets are available in advance from Creature Comforts, Vaughan Road, Harpenden, from the ticket secretary on 01582 833073 at evenings and weekends or on the door on the night.
