Real ale enthusiasts from a small St Albans brewers will be bringing great beer to Meraki Festival 2017.
Farr Brew, who started making real ale early last year, will be running a bar in a teepee at the district’s first major music festival.
Sales director at Farr Brew, Matt Elvidge, explained what will be on offer: “We are going to have a range of real ales produced by ourselves, craft lagers, local ciders and wine, and soft drinks for families and kids.
“It’s going to be good, we are very excited.”
Founder and head brewer, Nick Farr, explained how it all began: “I have always been an extremely keen home brewer and friends of mine kept nagging us to brew beer for parties and barbecues and such and so we thought, ‘let’s give it a go in a commercial setting’ and it has been a real success so far.”
Meraki runs from August 11 to 13 on the Hertfordshire showground. This bar will be open from Friday through to Sunday, 10am till close.
