Fresh a la-carte barbecue will whet the appetites of festival goers in St Albans this year.
St Villa, a British and European restaurant on Marlborough Road in the city centre, will be running an open grill at Meraki Festival - preparing dishes to order across the weekend.
Marketing and PR manager at St Villa, Rebecca Johnson, said: “We are going to be bringing a bit of St Villa to Meraki Festival, so we are going to be doing things like steak sandwiches, we are going to do baby chicken on the rotisserie, we are going to be doing Bratwurst sausages from Germany. We have a German supplier, he actually supplies for the Christmas Market so we have got exclusive use of the same product.”
The grill will be open from August 11 to 13, 10am till midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 10.30pm on Sunday
There will be child size portions available.
