AARON Chandler inspired St Albans Centurions Under 14s to a dramatic win against London Skolars in North London.
With five minutes to go the sides were locked together on 24 points each, until a flowing move from Centurions released the unstoppable Chandler to crash over and score. The Cents held on to the lead to win 28-24. Chandler, Aaron Gregg and Seb Burggy were all in outstanding form.
Centurions Under 12s hit form to record a comprehensive 36-28 win against Skolars with a number of Cents guest starring on their side. Matt King, Tom McBride, Kieran Hodges and Niles Poulter impressed for the Cents.
Centurions have five players called up to the represent the North London Region against South London in the annual Junior Rep team competition.
