Harpenden RFC’s Jack Singleton has been signed by Worcester Warriors.

Singleton, 17, is an Oaklands College student who has plied his trade at St Albans and Saracens as an academy player where he progressed from the U16 right up to becoming captain of the U18.

He was also captain at the college and has represented Hertfordshire at senior level.

The former St George’s and Aldwickbury school pupil said he owes his break to Matt Davies, then an academy coach at Saracens, who thought there was a future for him in rugby at the professional level, as well as Dave Hesketh and Jake Sharp from the College.
