Boreham Wood set up a Herts Senior Cup final against Hemel Hempstead after beating St Albans City 2-0 at Meadow Park on Tuesday.
Goals either side of half-time from Callum Reynolds and Matthew Whichelow were enough to down the Saints and extended their run without a win to eight in all competitions.
Tuesday’s last four tie was a welcome break from Vanarama Conference South action but City get back to it on Saturday at home against Weston-super-Mare. St Albans won the reverse match 2-0 but Weston will be buoyed after their 4-2 win over Bath City on Tuesday.
The match at Clarence Park kicks off at 3pm.
