THE newly-formed Wheathampstead Wanderers FC senior side marked their debut in the West Herts League with a tight 2-2 draw with Rickmansworth St George in Division Two.
The young Wanderers side took the lead when Rob Clark steered the ball round the RSG 'keeper.
The visitors equalised before the break with a neat finish at the near post.
The goal of the game followed in the second half when Rory Scott rose to power in a superb header from 20 yards.
Rickmansworth weren't finished and a headed goal earned their point.
George Spooner was named Man of the Match with an outstanding performance at left back.
