Wheathampstead were dumped out of their third cup in as many weeks losing 3-0 to Oxhey in the Senior Charity Cup. This was by far Wanderers’ worst performance of the season and leaves them without a win since October 15.
At 2-0 down Wheato were thrown a lifeline when Alex Vaughan was scythed down for a penalty which was not converted.
Missing squad regulars Neil Given, Karl Foskett, Frankie Buckler and Dan Jones are all due to return this week when Wheathampstead travel to Aldenham to try and get their league campaign back on track.
