LAST Saturday saw the annual St Albans District Junior Schools (Large) Netball Tournament held at Sandringham School.
Despite the dreary weather conditions, the standard of netball was very high from all the 11 schools that took part.
A very competitive final saw Wheatfields School crowned champions, beating Fleetville 3-0.
Coaches form Wheatfields, Charlotte Pettengell & Tasha Charnock, said: "This is a fantastic end to a very enjoyable and successful season, in which the girls have been unbeaten in every match they have played. We are very proud of them and all the hard work has paid off!
