VICTORIA Webster took third place in her first half marathon as she took on the Adidas Silverstone event on Sunday.
The race, organised by the Flora London Marathon team was won by Great Britain international Liz Yelling in a time of 1.12.46. Ethiopian Birhan Dagne was second in 1.15.27 and Victoria finished third with a time of 1.20.46.
Victoria will be back in action on the country on Saturday as she heads for Nottingham for the Inter Counties.
l PAUL Adams broke the St Albans Striders personal best time for a half marathon on Sunday at Reading finishing in a time of 1 hour 9 minutes.
Ed Blake recorded a time of 1 hour 19 minutes and the first lady Strider home was Gill Jubb in 1 hour 30 minutes. Martin Whitworth ran 1 hour 37 minutes and R. Dighe 1 hour 51 minutes.
