DESPITE long periods of possession by the visitors, the Wanderers enjoyed a comfortable win.
Dave Ashley repeated his feat of scoring four by half-time, as in the recent cup tie between the two teams. His supporting act consisted of John Sergeant and Shaun Gibson who each scored two, with the former claiming the goal of the game lashing in a volley from 25 yards.
The score at the break was 8-0 and goals in the second period came from Rich Francis (two) and Ben Knapper. The game was controlled well by referee Brian Robson. On Saturday, Wanderers take on St Ippolyts.
