North & Mid Herts Division One
Global FC 2 St Albans Wanderers 3
A WHIRLWIND start by the Wanderers produced a three goal lead within half an hour.
Man of the Match, Matthew Briggs headed in Tim Attwood's pinpoint free kick after 15 minutes and the same combination lead to Simon Roberts stabbing in Briggs' flick on just 10 minutes later.
Shaun Gibson completed the visitors' goal tally soon after, finishing off a solo run with a clinical finish.
After the storm came the calm, which saw Global taking control and getting a goal back through Poynter just before the break.
