Attwood nets the only goal of the game
North & Mid Herts Premier
St Albans Wanderers 1 RBL FC 0
In a keenly fought match, in which yellow cards were issued liberally to both sides, it was Wanderers who claimed all three points.
Much of the game was played in midfield, where the home team man of the match - Will Rodell - worked tirelessly. However, neither ‘keeper was unduly troubled with shots on target.
Significantly, the game was decided by a penalty, awarded for hand-ball and converted by player-manager, Tim Attwood.
On Saturday (28th), Wanderers travel to Ware, to take on Warriors FC in the Benevolent Shield.
