On Saturday, Wanderers exacted revenge upon their hosts, who had beaten them in the league earlier in the season.
The visitors were first into their stride, with Harry Honeywood firing in after 15 minutes. Shaun Gibson added the second just 10 minutes later and the third just before the half-time whistle.
The second half continued with the St Albans team launching attack after attack, allowing Steve Owen to help himself to a brace.
Gibson completed his hat-trick with three minutes left on the clock and so Wanderers progress to a semi final meeting with Potters Bar Crusaders in the New Year.
