YOUTH FOOTBALL: Wheathampstead Wanderers U16s capped off an impressive first season in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League Premier Division with a trophy, winning the Premier Division Cup.
Wanderers beat league runners up Watton Youth 3-1 despite going down to a shock early goal.
The Wanderers showed skill, determination and great team spirit in blustery conditions to dominate the second half and deservedly lift the cup.
Ed Frost was named Man of the Match.
