St Albans City held off a Chippenham Town fight back to record a 1-0 win at Clarence Park on Monday.
John Frendo’s left-footed volley, finishing off a sublime cross from Chris Henry, in the 18th minute was enough for City to earn a win but they needed a solid defensive effort and a superb save from Paul Bastock to ensure victory.
