St Albans City boosted their play-off hopes with a 2-1 win over Bashley on Saturday.
Goals from John Frendo and Kerrea Gilbert saw City overturn the hosts’ 1-0 lead and picked up three valuable points.
The win sees the Saints consolidate third position in the table and moves them seven points ahead of Cambridge City, the team currently occupying the final play-off spot.
